It is also recommended that you check out one (or a few) of the city’s Irish pubs that provide charming vibes. A lively sports bar on Dot Ave - the Banshee is the official home to several local chapters of international soccer supporters clubs - the most reliable place in town to catch sports like rugby and hurling. Another great Irish pub is the Black Rose, located near Faneuil Hall this spot has been pouring pints for more than 40 years and offers live music, combining New England classics with Irish treats. Exhibits include; a Hall of Human Life focusing on how people understand their own biology, Arctic Adventure with Technology where you can fly a drone to find an Arctic Fox among other immersive experiences, and Project Vaccine: Our Best Defense, a space where the public can learn about vaccines and their development.

They also offer Omni Films - IMAX films projected onto a five-story-high domed screen featuring films such as Ancient Caves and Superpower Dogs. You can catch a Planetarium Show at the Charles Hayden Planetarium where you can descend through Jupiter’s atmosphere, and/or view the night sky with strewn stars. 4-D Films are also available where you can feel and even smell special effects, and live presentations led by dynamic educators teach visitors about everything from quantum physics to the expanding universe.

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is an art museum that houses beautiful examples of European, Asian, and American Art including paintings, sculptures, tapestries, and more. The museum was founded by Isabella Stewart Gardner, an American art collector, philanthropist, and patron of the arts. Gardner began collecting seriously after receiving a large inheritance from her father, becoming the first American to own a painting by Botticelli, a Renaissance master. After her husband's death, she purchased land in the marshy Fenway area and hired architect Willard T Sears to build Fenway Court, once the building was complete Isabella spent a year installing her collection in ways that would evoke intimate responses to the art.

The Museum opened on January 1, 1903, celebrated with a grand celebration including a performance by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, featuring a menu offering champagne and doughnuts.

The Museum of Fine Arts is the 20th-largest art museum in the world containing 8, 161 paintings and more than 450,000 words of art. The MFA opened its doors July 4, 1876 om Copley Square with 5,600 works of art but over the next several years the collections, as well as the number of visitors, grew exponentially, so much so that in 1909 the Museum moved to its current home on Huntington Avenue.
